Why we focus on auto injury
Michigan no-fault law is unlike any other state’s auto insurance system. It changed sweepingly in 2019, insurers apply a medical fee schedule that changes every year, and appellate courts reshape it every term. A firm that handles divorces on Monday and wills on Tuesday cannot follow it closely enough. We focus our practice on motor vehicle injuries so that we can. We also handle a limited set of other matters: dog bites, falls on someone else’s property, medical malpractice, lemon law, bankruptcy and real estate.
How we work
- An attorney reviews every case. Your first substantive conversation is with a lawyer.
- Both sides of no-fault. We represent injured people and the doctors, clinics, agencies and surgery centers that treat them. Knowing how insurers handle provider bills makes us better at protecting a patient’s claim, and the reverse.
- We keep our cases. We do not sign up cases to refer them out. If your case goes to trial, the firm that signed you tries it.
- Plain answers in writing. You get a written fee agreement and a clear explanation of costs before you sign anything.
